My youngest had a volleyball trip last week that involved the team ordering pizza. Of course she couldn’t eat it and it was an unannounced team treat so she was unprepared without her emergency rations. She asked our exchange student what he did in Norway when people ordered out for pizza. He replied they ordered a gluten-free pizza for him. “That stinks.”(Okay she used another word.) Why can’t we have take out pizza that’s gluten free she wanted to know.
My friend and gluten free party planner, Jay, from The Gluten Free Post supplied the answer this Saturday. He organized dinner at ZPizza with plenty of gluten free pizza for all. Now we need one south of Columbus.

After we stuffed ourselves with gluten-free pizza and ordered two more to take home for the eldest child (and for breakfast) we did a tour of downtown Columbus and took moody touristy shots of our hometown while we showed our Norwegian friend the Santa Maria and the Short North. That’s another advantage to the Z Pizza location. It’s in the Short North near the Arena District and the North Market and downtown. For more reviews and photos stop by Jay’s and Kim’s. Jay even has pictures of the people and not just the food. You might see us.
It was great to meet you!!
I can't wait to go to ZPizza again!!
Yes, I also want a slice of Pizza:-)))
I have an important question in the gluten-free diet in the U.S. and Canada, maybe you could answer.
That amount of gluten allowed in products made??? The 20PPM?
In Europe we have as "gluten free" to 20ppm gluten and may contain up to 100 PPM, is the same in the U.S.?
Thank you for your response grcias

That looks soooo good. Glad you had such a wonderful experience! None around here, but I'll be on the lookout when we travel.

Hello friends.
I have the data, very interesting.
Canada 10ppm, 5ppm Australia, Europe 20 ppm, 20 ppm U.S..
True, the problems have celiac the "outside", but I'm partidiaraia to marginalize any group, I want my granddaughter can apply at any place, that country as anyone.
My son works occasionally in NY, my daughter also journalist, traveled frequently to the USA.
We have written to the Association of NY, the United States Congress and Presiedente Obama.
We call laws celiac, gluten-free menus in school (my grandchildren study two years in Chicago)
to regulate the amount of gluten in manufactured products …
I do not think the solution of the celiac is stay home, afraid to eat out of it … would not be fair (!) Fully trust the U.S., regularize the situation of celiac whether as three million patients who are without diagnose.
Thank you very much for your support
Yeah, zPizza rocks! We love it here in the Triangle region (NC)!
