Gluten-Free Bowl

This strange object is a black bowl I found at World Market on an expedition to find Lyle’s Golden Syrup and Bird’s Custard Powder. I have a weakness for bowls and mugs and this one followed me home. It will be the starting point for my shiny new blog that replaces my old blog where I kept writing about food and posting recipes, so why not just go ahead and admit it. Food and feeding my kids is my passion and preoccupation these days. Teenagers with that hungry, desperate look in their eyes are scary enough. Add the complications of feeding them massive quantities of gluten-free, mostly organic, natural foods and it becomes a blog worthy obsession.

To start the week and my new blog, I will fill this very cool, black bowl for seven days with gluten-free goodness that satisfies my ravenous teens and doesn’t eat into their college funds.
